about us

MIP’s history dates back to 1953. At that time , plastic revolution was just beginning as plastics appeared to be a low-cost substitute for other materials. Foreseeing the growing needs and uses of plastic products, the Hayek family entered the plastic industry, producing consumer goods such as combs, cutlery and disposables. The company grew rapidly to become in 1975 the largest plastic manufacturing facility in the Middle East.
